We've been doing things differently for over 150 years. Not because we've been told to, but because it's the right thing to do. Born out of the co-operative movement, we've been focused on providing an ethical alternative to banking since 1872.

Our unique, customer-led Ethical Policy is one of the defining reasons people choose to bank with us. Now over 30 years old and in its fifth iteration, it reflects what matters most to our customers and colleagues, and guides every decision we make.
