Portfolio Programme Manager 

Salary up to £90,000 

Manchester or Coventry/Remote

12 month fixed term contract

We promote a hybrid working environment, which means you will work at our office in Manchester roughly once a week and then remotely from home. To enable you to work from home, you will need have a suitable office set up which includes a desk and a chair in a location which is free from the interruptions of day-to-day life.

 

The role:

 

As a Portfolio/Programme Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering parts of the wider Retail portfolio, driving significant changes to meet strategic business goals.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

*   Deliver multiple IT projects to drive transformation across the Bank to time, cost and quality

*   Direct a high-performing team of experienced delivery resources, including shaping the size of the team and the necessary skills to deliver change programmes

*   Develop and manage business cases for projects, ensuring efficient delivery with robust financial management and governance

*   Develop excellent working relationships within the Digital and Change team and with wider business stakeholders.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

 

To apply, you will need proven experience in delivering a portfolio of projects, covering delivery across multi-channel service offerings and associated business organization units. You will also require the following:

 

  • Extensive experience implementing Agile processes and principles, and the ability to positively promote the benefits of working this way to stakeholders, cross-functional teams and the wider digital and change team
  • Experience successfully leading and delivering a wide range of major and technology centric change (in terms of value, numbers of people and organisations involved and technical and business complexity).
