The Co-operative Bank are longstanding advocates of hybrid and flexible working. During the pandemic our colleagues are working from home fully supported by our bank. As we look to the future, we will continue to offer remote working in roles that allow with the opportunity to spend up 1-2 days in the office per week if desired.

 

Are you a -0-2 years PQE Solicitor looking for your first in-house role? 2021 is an exciting time to join the Co-operative Bank and our in-house legal team. If you are a driven 0-2 years PQE Solicitor with some experience within the banking sector or a reputable law firm, this role provides a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful team and grow with us.

Our Solicitors provide expert and specialist business focussed legal advice across our bank adding value and mitigating risk across all business areas.

 

What will matter most to us is your track record of working in an advisory capacity in the sector. The right candidate can expect the opportunity to develop and further their career within a small, supportive and high-performing team.

 

What will you need?

 

Educated to degree level or hold equivalent recognised professional qualifications

0-2 years PQE

Previous consumer credit or payments experience from a financial institution is desirable, but not essential.

We are particularly looking for an individual experienced in handling a wide range of legal tasks or problems with proven information analysis skills.

Enthusiastic about building an in-house legal career.

Team player; able to build relationships at all levels of the business.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
