Working within a team of analysts to facilitate the production of reporting and analytical functionality to meet the requirements of the business. Through the adoption of industry leading standards and controls, ensuring optimum efficiency, quality and timeliness is achieved for the delivery of all production reporting. To build and maintain relationships with key business areas to support Co-operative Banking Group goals and objectives.

 

This role will be responsible for playing a senior role within the Production team in and deputising in the absence of the team manager.

 

Key Accountabilities:

To manage to deployment of new reporting to the production environment.

To ensure the operational effectiveness of the production reporting environment.

To set and maintain the security policy for the production reporting environment.

To act as a point of contact and SME in areas relating to the production reporting environment.

To create and maintain relevant documentation to support the operational effectiveness of the production reporting environment.

Monitor automated qualitative checks for all Production Reporting.

Manage resolution of qualitative issues.

Administrate Production Reporting delivery with Optimum efficiency through effective trigger and schedule based automation.

Undertake effective SLA monitoring.

Manage resolution of SLA issues.

Assist in the administration of reporting environments (Cognos / SAS).

Monitor usage of existing production reporting, switching off where appropriate.

To offer effective customer engagement providing guidance and support on all aspects of D&MI deliverables.

To ensure all production reporting is compliant to the regulatory requirements of CFS.

To use innovative BI reporting methodology that are proven industry best practise.

To develop working relationships with customers, departmental colleagues and other stakeholders, including external service providers,               to facilitate the provision of quality services

Ability to work on multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.

Ability to estimate pieces of work and successfully hit deadlines.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good SAS Knowledge.

Effective management and leadership capability of technical experts.

Skill to build and maintain effective working relationships with other key areas of the business.

Skills in the use of appropriate tools and systems, or able to develop these quickly.

Experienced in the use of technical applications (DB2, SQL, SAS, Cognos, Business Objects, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel).
