2021 is an exciting time to join The Co-operative Bank and our strong Unsecured Credit Risk team. This role provides the opportunity to develop your own analysis to support improvements to our Credit Risk strategies. You will provide analytical support, insight and guidance to ensure the ongoing improvement and effectiveness of risk management strategies and associated processes across the Bank’s unsecured portfolio (Current Accounts, Loans and Credit Cards).You will lead and support various credit risk activities across both the acquisition and customer management lifecycles. SAS is our main analysis tool so experience with this would be highly advantageous. Experience with SQL or SPSS also considered.

What would we like you to have?

 

*       Experience of credit risk management and associated analytical techniques and practices

*       Competent utilising SAS, SQL or SPSS to carry out analysis

*       Ideally with experience in credit risk management strategies (acquisition, customer management or arrears) for unsecured products

*       Strong understanding of the consumer lending industry. This includes systems and practices along with commercial, financial and legislative requirements and issues

*       Good communication (written and verbal) skills, including well developed presentation skills

*       Proven stakeholder management skills

*       Understanding of Credit Reference Agencies and their data

*       Ability to analyse and confidently present complex technical information
