£48,000-£61,000 (Plus Car allowance & Private Medical)

The role:

 

As the Recovery and Resolution Lead, you’ll lead and deliver the operational resilience roadmap throughout the bank. You’ll use your expert knowledge to drive the banks Resilience, recovery & resolution plans (RRRP) and ensure the bank meets it’s commitment for current and future regulatory requirements. In this role you’ll gain regular exposure through to executive level and regulators, therefore strong stakeholder and communication skills are key.

 

You are responsible for supporting the Banks response and recovery of incidents (IMT/CMT) which requires 24/7 support.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

Lead engagement of key internal stakeholders and senior management to ensure full understanding of all aspects of Operational resilience regulations and requirements ensuring there is clear business ownership, with robust oversight and control to deliver compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Ensure the Bank is able to respond to all Customer needs during periods of stress (short term disruption, business continuity & resolution).  

Develops and maintains the processes and tools used across the Bank to embed the Risk Policies and Control Standards for Operational Continuity in Resolution (OCIR), Operational Resilience and wider RRRP.

Develops and implements an operational recovery (inc OCIR) & resilience roadmap which evidences key milestones to be achieved to enhance resilience and meet regulatory expectations

To work with and manage external stakeholders (PRA, FCA and other Bank of England departments) to prioritise and deliver Resilience, Recovery and Resolution related projects.

Develop and lead analysis of MI to ensure early warning indicators of firm stress (both financial and physical) are visible.

To lead effective root cause analysis, identifying pressure points and rolling out improvement programmes at pace.

Lead the review and improvement of all components of the Bank’s responsibilities and requirements for Operational Resilience both Operational Continuity in Resolution and the Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive (BRRD) providing feedback to the authors and key stakeholders who are accountable / responsible for the Plans.

 
 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

 

Subject matter expert in Operational Resilience, OCIR, incident management and an in depth understanding and interpretation of regulatory requirements for RRP.

Expert knowledge of the regulatory requirements and rules that govern the business activities that you are responsible, accountable or work within.

Deep knowledge of programme & project management techniques

Strong understanding of processes, governance frameworks, operational risk and compliance

Excellent stakeholder management, able to build and manage relationships at a specialist level with external suppliers and partners.

Leading an organisation wide change programme at a strategic level

Leading a team of professional experts in the provision of an internal consultancy service to the business

Strong analytical and report writing skills with an attention to detail.

Ability to deliver high standards of work to tight deadlines in a high pressure environment.
