We promote a hybrid working environment, which means you will work at our office in Manchester roughly once a week and then remotely from home. To enable you to work from home, you will need have a suitable office set up which includes a desk and a chair in a location which is free from the interruptions of day-to-day life.
The role:
As a Product Manager you are responsible for supporting the delivery of defining, and ownership of the end-2-end customer experience for the Group’s customers with oversight of the customer experience throughout the Group. Working within the team responsible for attracting customers, balances and renovating the existing product range utilising the brand and segmentation plan, all within Group risk appetite.
The role holder will work with a wide range of stakeholders across the Group to support the design and delivery of commercial activities and opportunities to drive P&L and balance sheet growth. The role is commercial in its focus, and will require proactivity to identify opportunities and changes to the customer experience, including leading the product strategy, experience, design and delivery.
Key Accountabilities:
Define customer experience and support oversight over the product plan.*
To deliver commercial objectives, channel and marketing mix for new and existing customers by utilising the brand and segmentation plan. Delivering renovation and innovation to meet our customer’s needs.*
Lead by example across the team, utilising skills and experience to support development of the wider team to support creation of a highly effective, high performing and motivated team.*
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders including executive and senior management, enterprise leaders and peers.*
Support identification and management of all regulatory, operational and conduct risks arising from the product set in accordance with the Group risk appetite.*
Support the team to continually meet all regulatory, risk and control requirements and the appropriate robust governance arrangements are in place.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
* Commercially focussed experience and understanding of financial services.
* Experience of leading highly effective teams and managing projects with large numbers of stakeholders.
* High proficiency in the creation of compelling written presentations/proposals and committee papers.
* Data led, with a strong experience in developing insight focussed business cases.
* Creative problem solver
