SME and intermediaries Sale support Lead

PURPOSE: 

 

Leads the planning and delivery of the bank’s intermediary and B2B marketing strategies and sales support in alignment with the commercial objectives, scorecard and customer first agenda, all of which are adhere to brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

 

CUSTOMER:

  • Lead the development of communication propositions and activities which respond to insight and are aligned to the bank’s defined target audience
  • Champion the end customer in all manner of activities, ensuing the customer is at the heart of all communication activities
  • Ensures all activities align to the brand guidelines and brand positioning, leveraging our ethical proof points to retain our distinctiveness in the category.
  • Leads the strategy and delivery of integrated campaigns for both brokers and business RMs
  • Leads development of all RM and broker marketing strategies, activities and assets (offline and online) 
  • Responsible for the development and dispatch of broker newsletters, collating news and improvements across the business to support broker experience improvement

PEOPLE:

  • Initiates and builds strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to ensure all marketing activities align to specific business requirements and expectations 
  • Supports a customer centric approach and culture which inspires and motivates colleagues across products and marketing
  • Execution and delivery of Relationship/branch marketing collateral (offline and online), external partnerships (e.g. Moneyfacts, GMCC, NACFB, FSB amongst others) including E2E management of RM toolkit assets and events materials for FSB and RM lead generation events 

 

FINANCE:

  • Responsible for the planning, development and dispatch of broker product updates ensuring the process is regularly reviewed and updated to maximise efficiency
  • Responsible for the development of BDM and RM toolkit assets, merchandise and delivery of presentations to BDMs and RMs to support relationship development and the achievement of sales targets 
  • Leads marketing campaign activity ensuring it is aligned with commercial objectives and KPI’s
  • Manages all marketing communications in alignment to agreed marketing strategy
  • Defines campaign objectives, including media strategy and gains buy in from stakeholders
  • Critically reviews campaign performance against key performance measures and uses learnings to inform future campaign activity

 

RISK:

*       Responsible for the effective stock control management ensuring operational effectiveness, develop and refine processes and policies enabling high levels of control surrounding stock management and version control

  • Identify and manage all regulatory, operational and conduct risks arising from brand and marketing communications in accordance with the banks risk appetite
  • Supports and promotes compliance within the team, being fully conversant with Financial Promotions Regulation
  • Accountable for management of campaign budget ensuring it aligns to agreed forecast and reforecasts where appropriate to avoid discrepancies.

 

FUTURE:

  • Attend external industry events and awards – representing the Bank and networking with mortgage brokers, industry peers and corporate clients

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 
 

*       3 years’ experience in a marketing campaign environment, preferably in financial services

*       Educated to degree level and/or appropriate professional qualification

*       Appreciation of current best practice and emerging techniques.

*       In depth understanding of critical category value drivers

*       Proven track record in  planning, forecasting and financial interpretation skills 

*       Proven track record in  stakeholder management

*       Excellent written and verbal communication skills / Influencing skills evidenced through a number of techniques.

*       Sound knowledge of key metrics that reflect customer satisfaction within a retail environment

*       Solid understanding of emerging digital trends within retailing

*       Sound commercial awareness and understanding of the broader market landscape and competitor activity    

*       A proactive individual with excellent organisational skills, able to respond to a wide range of internal

*       requests and challenges
