Resourcing Advisor 

Location – Home Based/Manchester 

Full time - 35 hours 

Grade – Band CR2

We are currently looking to recruit a Resourcing Advisor to provide a specialist service, input and advice, that brings together information regarding customer demand and resource supply and utilize this to maximise performance.  This will include the production of:

 

  • Accurate demand plans (volume, workload) and FTE forecasts at an appropriate level of granularity
  • Resource plans, working pattern scenarios/shifts, and recruitment profiles that ensure an efficient and cost effective delivery of customer service standards and regulatory SLA achievement
  • Shrinkage framework/allowances used for the management on non-customer facing activity including holiday booking and away from desk activities like training and development

 

Key accountabilities: 

  • To develop and maintain demand and supply plans to provide an accurate view of workload and resource requirements
  • To support the impact assessment of any movement against the strategic plan, tactical changes to product plans, or any activities that impact customer experience
  • Identify business contact drivers (sale plans, change, marketing activity) and customer contact behaviour trends (historical analysis) to drive continual improvements in forecasting accuracy at a monthly, weekly, daily, and intraday level
  • Delivering detailed workload projections, resource gap analysis and appropriate recruitment/resource plans to ensure the delivery of business plans and critical service measures/regulatory SLAs
  • Setting of holiday and shrinkage allowances
  • Ensure the delivery of working patterns/annualised hours that match customer contact behaviours while balancing the cost objectives of the organisation and the needs of our colleagues
  • Review internal advocacy towards working patterns and continually identify opportunities to improve colleague experience/flexible working arrangements. Supplement this through proactive research into external best practise
  • Ensure that shift arrangements adhere to the Working Time Directive and our internal agreements (notice periods, safeguards)
  • Build and maintain strong, engaging relationships with department level internal stakeholders
  • Providing expert advice supporting CSL and Head Of level decision making regarding short term workload and resource issues

 

Key requirements: 

  • Advanced industry knowledge/expertise of end to end resource planning methodologies
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to shape the current and future state
  • High level of commercial acumen and ability to prioritise multiple complex disciplines
  • Highly numerate and articulate
  • Knowledge and understanding of the relevant UK regulatory environment and conduct risk requirements
