35k – 45k Salary dependant on experience

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join the commercial tower of our procurement team. This role will cover our commercial areas (Retail, SME, Customer Channels and People) working closely with key stakeholders across the bank and key suppliers.

 

You will be a specialist in Procurement, having worked in a fast paced environment with a good variety of contracts, categories and stakeholders. 

The ideal candidate will flourish in their stakeholder relationships, have a good technical procurement skillset and be keen to learn and grow with us.

This is a brilliant opportunity to have a direct impact on our bank performance. With time you will gain well-rounded knowledge of all of the banks products and services and manage key relationships with critical contracts and stakeholders across the business.

What would we like you to have?

 

Excellent category management skills and ideally experience in sourcing a broad range of goods and services.

Evidence of developing and implementing category strategies either in a leading or supporting role.

Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen, with a focus on driving cost savings for our bank

Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Management of end to end RFP processes, contract award and supplier management preferable.

Educated to degree level preferred.

CIPS qualified preferable but also working towards or interested in gaining CIPS qualification.

Experience in or an interest in working within a regulated financial services environment

Self-motivated, with an ability to manage multiple projects to tight timelines.
