We promote a hybrid working environment, which means you will work at our office in Manchester roughly once a week and then remotely from home. To enable you to work from home, you will need have a suitable office set up which includes a desk and a chair in a location which is free from the interruptions of day-to-day life.
The role:
We’re looking for a People Services Administrator to join our People Function. In this role you will play a key part in providing HR support across the Bank. Helping to embed the leader self-service model. Working collaboratively to provide HR administrative support to Leaders and colleagues across the business as well as wider teams within the People Function. You will process payroll on a monthly basis and ensuring consistent and accurate data in our HR and Payroll systems and support with any queries across the business.
Key Accountabilities:
* Maintaining accurate records on our HR and payroll systems, for new starters, leavers and changes including accurately reflecting Bank structures
* Supporting with Payroll administration, including processing, reviewing and inputting data and resolving queries
* Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements
* Draft and issue contracts for new starters and internal movers
* Ensure employee files are maintained in line with employment law
* Assist in ad-hoc projects within the People Function and the review and on-going maintenance of HR related documentation
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
* Demonstrable experience working in an environment where sensitivity and confidentiality are a high priority
* Excellent verbal and written communication, showing high attention to detail across all levels
* Ability to manage your workload and prioritise competing priorities in line with SLA’s
* Experience of the HR/Payroll environment would be advantageous
* Collaborative nature to ensure team objectives and workloads are achieved to the highest standard
