Role Purpose:

 

To scope, design, evaluate, maintain and facilitate, regulatory, technical, operational and soft skill learning solutions.  Applying all areas of the learning lifecycle, in order to enhance technical and regulatory role capability and developmental growth across the Bank.

 

You will work flexibly across business areas and locations to meet specific learning demand.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Learning Operations Lead and business stakeholders to conduct learning gap analysis to scope and plan requirements that meet business needs and enhance role capability.
  • Work effectively with the Learning Operations Lead to ensure a smooth transition from design and delivery of learning solutions that are fit for purpose and align with quality learning standards.
  • Scope, design, development and maintenance of eLearning solutions, enhancing and improving content and materials to align with the digital learning strategy.
  • Maintain LMS administration and support the end to end journey for delegates.
  • Maintain course ownership responsibilities of designated core curriculum and maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of relevant business areas (objectives and issues).
  • Proactively make recommendations in respect of new learning interventions and approaches.
  • Ensure that satisfaction data is captured and reported that will allow the identification of improvements to content, delivery processes or facilities.

 

Control (Risks, Financials and Processes)

  • Creating learning needs analysis reports, recommending the most appropriate innovative and cost effective learning solutions.
  • Design and creation of training interventions and blended learning solutions that meet defined quality standards, effectively utilising multiple mediums such face to face workshops, self-directed learning, e-learning and other available technology, learning resources and repositories.
  • Ensure training governance and material governance processes are applied to all learning solutions.
  • Ensuring learning interventions are delivered to defined quality standards to ensure new colleagues are successfully inducted into the organisation and their role
  • Role specific competence is achieved for delegates around regulatory compliance, processes, systems and procedures
  • Development of knowledge, skills and behaviour appropriate to role
  • Evaluation of all training materials and core curriculum, ensuring they still meet the defined quality standards.

 

Change

  • Support strategic change projects when deemed necessary.  Scoping the design and delivery of learning solutions to deliver the change.

 

People/Leadership

  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders; Learning Consultants, business stakeholders, peers, and delegates.
  • Assume oversight for delegates and behave as a role model, handoff to their line managers when an informal and formal discussion is required.
  • Coach and support others, in business areas and peers across learning, to maximise potential.
  • Conduct Train the Trainer facilitation sessions and upskills.
  • Prioritise and plan own workload and delivers to agreed SLAs, deadlines, cost and standards.

Essential

  • Strong facilitation expertise
  • Training design capability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to coach and motivate
  • Demonstrates high personal credibility and behaves as a role model
  • Experience in a learning and development related field
  • Strong technical skills, knowledge and understanding of training and development
  • Good analytical and conceptual thinking and ability to deal with complexity

 

Desirable

  • CIPD qualification or equivalent e.g. Certificate in Training Practice.
  • E-learning design capability, competent in the use of e-creator and captivate
