Key Accountabilities:

 

Produce detailed customer / portfolio analysis reports to support planned / tactical business requirements and regulatory submissions, ensuring that quality standards are maintained and data is provided in line with business unit requirements and agreed timescales and formats.

Develop customer segmentation strategies to support the identification of core customer groups and to help the business to tailor propositions and customer experience in line with the business strategy

Identify opportunities to share insight across Marketing teams and business boundaries, so that data is used widely to inform business decisions and the maximum commercial advantage is gained from each piece of analysis.

Champion the value of insight across the business to ensure that the customer’ voice is always heard and consideration of insight data becomes a fundamental part of the key strategic decision making processes

Develop propensity models, Event & Triggers prompts and the appropriate test and learn measurement framework to support personalised Best Next Action to support the targeting of marketing resources and to improve the ROI from marketing spend

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

 

Proven in-depth experience working with analytics solutions (such as SAS, SQL, Python, R, , Data Visualisation – Tableau/Qlik/PowerBI)

Degree or equivalent in maths/statistics/computing/other numerical discipline (or qualified by extensive experience).

Proven track record of developing and delivering quality analytics and commercially benefiting solutions.

Proven experience of sourcing and quality checking different data sources.

Experience of working in Agile analytics delivery and/or multi-functional project teams is advantageous.

Good stakeholder management and communications skills, capable of Data Storytelling to non-technical audiences.

Able to identify and apply the most appropriate analytical techniques to bring different sources together to tell a story. Involves teams in analytics to increase consensus and challenge assumptions.

Has a good understanding of relevant data sources, tools and systems. Uses appropriate approaches for verifying and validating data and analysis.
