The role:
The Combination of the Coventry Building Society and the Co-operative Bank creates the UK’s 7th largest mortgage lender and a mutual retail banking alternative to the big banks. The Group Commercial Office will be integral to the future development of the customer proposition and the commercial success of the combined business. As an Assistant Product Manager you will support the Senior Product Manager and Product Managers to deliver key activities that allow the Product Team to function on a day-to-day basis. To deliver commercial objectives, target customer outcomes via channel and marketing mix for new and existing customers, all within Group defined risk appetite. The role holder will work with a wide range of stakeholders across the Group to support the design and delivery of commercial activities and opportunities to drive P&L and balance sheet growth. The role is commercial in its focus, and will require proactivity to identify opportunities and changes to the customer experience, including leading the product strategy, experience, design and delivery. The role is hybrid, but with high levels of flexibility to suit yours, and the businesses needs with a strong benefits package. Key Accountabilities:
* To support the Senior Product Manager and Product Managers to deliver key activities that allow the Product Team to function on a day-to-day basis.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
* Support identification and management of all regulatory, operational and conduct risks arising from the product set in accordance with the Group risk appetite.
* Analyse key complaint information and other insight about customer need to ensure summary monthly position is understood.
* Performance Management of the customer experience via effective oversight of delivery areas. In particular, oversight of MI, KPIs, change, risks and customer outcomes including trend, model and promotional analysis
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
* Commercially focussed experience and understanding of financial services.
* Experience creating compelling written presentations/proposals and committee papers.
* Data led, with experience in developing insight focussed business cases.
* Self-starter with a passion to learn and build experience.
