Contract: 12 Months Secondment

Hours: Full-Time - 35 hours - Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm

Grade: DR3

 

We are looking to recruit an Administrator to support Team Managers in developing, organising and controlling the activity of an operational team, ensuring all targets are achieved. You will maintain all quality, regulatory and procedural standards, whilst supporting colleagues across all teams and working at a higher level.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Deputise in Team Managers absence for team and department meetings
  • Authorising for your team and identifying gaps in resource across all teams and working together as an effective population to ensure all authorising is covered accordingly, also updating movements to reflect these daily / weekly decisions
  • Adhere to quality and risk framework to ensure any issues are highlighted and corrective action is taken.
  • Support all operational activity (EG work manager, Active Operations Management)
  • Monitor teams PSR processes, KPIs and SLAs and making resource decisions where required.
  • Identify key man dependencies on your own team plus looking at the bigger picture across the department and owning team and department training plans by reviewing these regularly. and acting on
  • Promote values, people with purpose.
  • Provide SME support to projects
  • Attend stakeholder management/meetings, building key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • To be seen as an EG champion to support team members where necessary.
  • Retaining process knowledge and taking ownership of Teams processes on BPO central and reviewing and amending these where required – 12 month process reviews.
  • Coaching colleagues to maximise performance within team and coaching on areas of development for individuals.
  • Regular, consistent quality checks on a daily basis to ensure all processes are reviewed either as a retrospective check or as an in the work end to end review and appropriate actions are taken where necessary.
  • Support Bank and Operational initiatives EG. Values, Behaviours, People with purpose. Take ownership of issues and support to its resolution and put steps in place to avoid reoccurrence where necessary.
  • Feedback around team and individual's performance, review control reports generated from data and analyse team performance and productivity.
  • Identify and support the implementation of process improvements, amending process guides where necessary.
  • Monitoring of teams suspense accounts to ensure they are being worked to high standard as per the Payment Operations suspense reconciliation guides. To also be aware of clearance timescales for these accounts and supporting team members where necessary to ensure items are cleared within financial control guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain all required skills, including a good working experience of relevant software tools and systems, to facilitate the efficient delivery of work activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements relevant to the role. Support and promote compliance with those requirements within the role and the business.
