In all my roles, I’ve wanted to help people grow and develop. I love it. I work with diverse groups of people from all walks of life, and supported people of all abilities. For example, I’ve just gone out on road shows and held workshops to help colleagues use a new system and give them a helping hand. I want to see people become the best version of themselves. I get a real buzz out of seeing someone achieve their goals.

I’ve been a volunteer rugby coach for six years and help out in local schools running sessions with kids. I found sport teaches you life lessons and wanted to give back to something that was a big influence in my life. I wanted to give younger people opportunities I didn’t have. I love seeing people grow and develop. It’s so rewarding. I’ve also volunteered at the Ready to Work Club charity, helping people who are homeless to get back into work – from CV writing and job applications to interview prep. And it’s a chance for me to develop new and different skills too. It’s a very inclusive and supportive employer. They give you opportunities to make a difference. In the financial sector, it’s a company that’s different.
