Home Based- Agile working with option to come into Manchester office

Role Purpose

As the Data Production Analyst, you will be working within a team of analysts to facilitate the production of reporting and analytical functionality to meet the requirements of the business. Through the adoption of industry leading standards and controls, whilst ensuring optimum efficiency, quality and timeliness is achieved for the delivery of all production reporting. The Data Production Analyst will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key business areas to support Co-operative Banking goals and objectives.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

To support the deployment of new reporting to the production environment.

To support the operational effectiveness, maintain the look and feel, and security policy of the production reporting environment.

To create and maintain relevant documentation to support the operational effectiveness of the production reporting environment.

Administrate the delivery of Production reporting in accordance with agreed SLAs.

Monitor automated qualitative checks for all Production Reporting, and manage resolution of qualitative issues.

Administrate Production Reporting delivery with Optimum efficiency through effective trigger and schedule based automation.

Assist in the administration of reporting environments (Cognos, Business Objects & SAS).

Promote and support the use of self service for both ad-hoc and regular reporting.

Monitor usage of existing production reporting, switching off where appropriate.

To develop working relationships with customers, departmental colleagues and other stakeholders, including external service providers, to facilitate the provision of quality services

To ensure all production reporting is subject to up to date and concise process, procedural and metadata documentation.

Provide advice and support, including participating fully in the diagnosis and resolution of problems and issues, in area(s) of specialism.

To attain an understanding of the FDM operating environment in order to ensure operational effectiveness, adhering to the FDM operating model and terms of reference

Ability to estimate pieces of work and successfully hit deadlines.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Skill to build and maintain effective working relationships with other key areas of the business.

Skills in the use of appropriate tools and systems, or able to develop these quickly.

Experienced in the use of technical applications such as: DB2, SQL, SAS, Cognos, Business Objects, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel.

Experience of MI production.
