CRM Specialist Manchester / Remote

12 month Fixed term contract 

£30,000 - £34,200

35hrs per week

The role:

 

We’re recruiting for a CRM Specialist to manage and develop CRM campaigns to transform and improve processes to better connect us with our customers, deepening the relationship and improve customer engagement. As a CRM specialist, you’re the point of contact for operating campaigns, using our cloud based CRM platform. As such, you’re able to build, test, execute and report on a variety of email and SMS campaigns. 

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work with the Email In-house Marketing team to manage all aspects of the CRM platform Acoustic
  • Work closely with the Email In-house Marketing Team and key stakeholders to develop the CRM strategy and to ensure effective use of CRM.
  • Understand customer journeys and identify touch points to maximise commercial opportunities
  • Use customer segmentation and testing to enable tailored and relevant marketing messages to customers, delivering focussed and dynamic CRM campaigns
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of CRM marketing campaigns across all customer lifecycles, working with the Senior CRM Manager to plan, build, execute and report on campaigns.
  • Continuously test and learn, implementing best practices to improve email efficiency.
  • Scheduling, testing and deploying all email and SMS campaigns, making sure all relevant tracking measures are implemented.
  • Ensure all activity aligns with the wider marketing plan and strategic approach for growth of key customer segments.
  • Measure and analyse ROI from campaigns, producing regular reports on email performance and making recommendations for ongoing improvements.
  • Working with external agencies and suppliers where necessary to ensure the successful delivery of the CRM plan.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Educated to degree level /or appropriate professional qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with use of a cloud-based CRM platform

*       2 years’ experience in a marketing campaign environment, specifically CRM or digital marketing, Financial Services is desirable but not essential.

*       Excellent understanding of CRM principles, current best practice and emerging techniques.

*       Experience in AB testing

*       Understanding of HTML & CSS

*       Database knowledge

*       Proven track record in stakeholder management

*       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*       Strong commercial outlook and understanding of the broader market landscape and competitor activity  

*       A proactive individual with excellent organisational skills, able to respond to a wide range of internal requests and challenges

*       A data driven, analytical and technical thinker
