About the role:

 

As Content Designer within the UX Design team, your role will be to Support the continuous improvement of the digital user experience across the multiple digital channels through content. Creating simple yet compelling customer-focused content, you will help to create and define the content designs on a variety of platforms, proposing and creating solutions that balance user needs with our business goals and regulatory standards.

 

Key Accountabilities:

*       Has an understanding of users and what their needs are based on evidence

*       Understand and implements content, in-line with design system and content design standards, copy guidelines, branding etc

*       Designs and deliver content in a way that makes complex language and processes easy to understand

*       Supports the teams within the business to create customer journeys across a variety of products and services

*       Helps the team to decide the best approach, to manage and visualise outcomes

*       Work in partnership with all disciplines and specialists inc: designers, scrum and support teams to ensure projects are delivered to highest standards.

*       Work with and manage internal stakeholders, gaining buy-in, to optimise the digital service journeys across the site

*       Adopt an agile way of working, in-line with established frameworks

*       Adhere to departmental processes and controls to mitigate risks when publishing digital content across our digital assets

*       Work collaboratively with the team to develop content design solutions for both the user's experience and the business ability to implement

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

 

Essential

  • BA in English Literature, English Language, Creative Writing or related subject
  • Be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation
  • Excellent written capabilities
  • Passionate and hard-working
  • Being able to understand complex information and convey that in accessible way, in the bank’s tone of voice
  • Understand best practices for key digital content formats e.g online banners, web pages, push notifications etc.
  • Be able to balance the customer experience with business goals
  • A portfolio that reflects a strong understanding of content design or copywriting
  • A keenness to learn and develop

 

Desirable

*       Be passionate about uses of design, research, content, usability and accessibility

*       Worked in an agile environment

*       Passionate about learning more about UX
