Join our leadership graduate programme and you’ll gain industry knowledge and key skills to fast track your marketing career, in an ethical Bank that continues to put the customer at the heart of everything we do.
A leadership role in marketing
You will gain an invaluable insight into the inner workings of an ethical bank through rotational placements – from exploring how we design and market our products, to seeing first-hand how they are delivered to customers. By the end of the programme, you'll be more than ready for a leadership role in marketing that could see you creating marketing strategies to deliver our commercial objectives.
Throughout the two year programme we’ll give you all of the support we can to drive your career, with a mentor, sponsorship from a senior leader and a personal development plan. Your development path will draw together every aspect of your learning, from technical training to leadership skills, allowing you gain a professional Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification.

Over the two years I have been at The Co-operative Bank I have learnt an incredible amount. I have completed placements in customer marketing, branch and campaign marketing, commercial and planning management and brand strategy. I have been given the opportunity to both support and lead on key projects and initiatives across the directorate, while at the same time having exposure to senior stakeholders, including Executive Committee members. The programme gave me the necessary skills, knowledge and exposure to key internal and external stakeholders to enable me to have a successful career in a product or marketing role within the banking industry.
