A leadership role in digital
Digital is at the heart of our commercial operations and customer experience. Through a series of placements, you’ll get to know the ins and outs of a digital, ethical bank. You’ll learn how to manage and optimise retail sales at a digital business and see how digital supports our broader activities. You’ll also get first-hand experience of:
- Digital marketing
- Digital strategy and planning
- Online and mobile journey and service optimisation
- Project management
- Social Media
- Website research and design
There’s so much more to our digital leadership programme than experiencing the different aspects of digital. Your personal development plan will blend technical, professional and personal training to provide you with the all-round skills you’ll need to be a future digital leader. Your mentor will always be on hand to talk to. And you’ll also gain a relevant professional qualification, whether it’s with The Chartered Institute of Marketing or a PRINCE2 Project Management qualification.
Are you made of the right stuff?
You’ll need to be creative, ambitious and always looking for the next big thing to shape the future of digital. You’ll also be a fast learner who grasps every new challenge with both hands, commercially focused and a confident communicator, with a good head for figures with the ability to look at things differently when dealing with all kinds of challenges.
Being on the Digital Leadership graduate programme is the most challenging, yet rewarding experience of my career so far. I've been thrown in at the deep end from day one, with the expectation that I can do anything and everything I put my mind to. The opportunities in digital are endless and my colleagues encourage me to pursue any avenue that can add value to the business or my own personal development.
