Here at The Co-operative Bank we're committed to doing the right thing and building the digital, ethical bank of the future. That makes each day with us challenging, versatile and rewarding. As one of our graduates you’ll be at the heart of it all.

With leadership programmes across banking, finance, digital, marketing, products and technology and transformation, whatever your interest, if you share our values and have the talent and initiative to drive forward our business, we may have a great opportunity for you. You’ll learn at pace and gain exposure to senior leaders and a variety of projects and teams, giving you everything you need to be a future leader at our bank; all whilst working towards a professional qualification.

Here's what some of our graduates have to say about the programme...

Fantastic support

There’s much more to our graduate programmes than on-the-job experience. We’ll give you all of the support we can to drive your career and develop you as a person, challenging you to become an expert in your chosen field. We’ll assign you a mentor and work with you on a personal development plan to draw together every aspect of your learning, from technical training to leadership skills.

What you’ll need

  • Passion working for a bank with values and ethics at it's heart
  • At least a 2:1 degree or a 2:2 with a Masters (ideally in a numerical, scientific, analytical or business related subject)
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade C or above
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • The unrestricted right to live and work in the UK

Our assessment process

We’ve designed our process so we can get to know each other better along the way. You’ll be able to show us what you can do and you’ll get a real insight into what it’s like to work here. We’ll ask you to participate in:

  • An online application and screening
  • Online psychometric tests
  • A video assessment
  • An assessment centre
  • A final interview
