Leading your own branch in your community, you’ll thrive on real autonomy and the challenge of sharing everything you know about putting customers first with your own team. That’s not to say you won’t continue learning too – our training and support will make sure of that. But you’ll need to make the most of every opportunity to coach, inspire and motivate your team to deliver nothing less than the high standards of customer service you pride yourself on.
Our values and ethics mean everything to us. Which is why you’ll also embed them firmly in your team – so they become more than words on paper, but a way of life.
As a Branch Manager, plenty of ambition and retail banking experience will be essential, as you drive the success of a busy branch – big or small. Building community and business links will be key too, as you attract, engage and deepen relationships with existing and new customers. Plus of course, your role as Branch Manager will also involve measuring branch performance, identifying trends, developing branch activity plans, controlling budgets and recommending better ways of working. Resolving queries for high value customers, introducing branch changes and developing your team to deliver outstanding results, you’ll be one of the biggest reasons our customers recommend us to others.
